EPI focuses on using evolving technologies, earth observations and environmental analytics to address social issues. Our goal is to bridge the gap between science and public policy regarding climate change, energy, ecosystems, education, and health and to move society towards a low carbon economy. By drawing on expertise in earth sciences, social sciences, and information technology, our organization assists in communicating complex scientific information and best practices. The focus of EPI’s work is from the global to the regional and local. With its base in the United States, it also acts as a facility and source of technical expertise for building capacity in developing countries.
EPI is a 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt organization in the United States and also a registered vendor in the U.S. federal government’s System for Award Management (SAM).
